We Reached Our First Stretch Goal in Three Days! 

I'm so grateful for all your support. Two years ago I finished Blood and Thorns (Book three in the series) and ever since, I’ve been desperate revisit it. But when your livelihood lives and dies by retailer algorithms its hard to take risks of these types of tales. (Ones without a happily ever after) Backing this project is doing more than creating a beautiful Hardcover, you’re giving me the oppurtunity to follow my creative muse!

I can’t wait to share this villain origin story with you all.

When we hit $4,000 in funding we'll unlock double side character bookmarks! Which means TWO bonus bookmarks for all pledges $20 and up. Each bookmark features one character with illustrations of their front and back.  I had similar bookmarks made for my first campaign and I've talked to the artist and she's willing to make them for this campaign as well. Some of you have been asking for official Ray character for a while which means this will be his character art debut!

WE DID IT!

Shortly after I sent out yesterday's update I got the email informing me we've earned project we love. I'm beyond ecstatic! This wouldn't be possible without all your support for this campaign! To celebrate I have a gift for all current backers.

I designed a couple stickers as bonus gifts for all physical backers (meaning anyone pledging at $20 and up) I didn't anticipate there would be quite so many backers and so I have to cap some of the bonuses.

Forgive my puns, I couldn't help myself. But because you’ve all obliterated my original funding goal, I created some stretch goals. I've made them rather ambitious but I have high hopes we can unlock many if not all these rewards! 

$3,000- Villain Origin Story

The bitter sweet love story I've been itching to write for years.  Staring [redacted for spoilers] and the Thorn King. This tale would bridge the gap between Fairy Ring  and Pricked by Thorns (in which the Thorn King makes an appearance in the former but not later) and would tie together the greater Thornwood Fae universe. 

$4,000- Double sided Catherine and Ray Bookmarks

A pair of Ray and Catherine bookmarks for all physical backers ($20+, which means official Ray art at last! )

We've Tripled Our Funding Goal! 

It's so wonderful to see so many familiar names returning from the first campaign to this one. Thank you for your continued support it's hugely appreciated! And to all those new backers, hello and welcome. Thanks for believing in me and this project.

Since we've smashed through our funding that means we've unlocked STRETCH GOALS. What those are, I'll let you guess for now. (Feel free to comment with guesses) But I've got a lot of exciting ideas on how we can make this hardcover campaign EXTRA special.
